Hello,
I do not use the forums that much, but we are having a bit of trouble here at Christ's Community Church. In other words, Satan is trying to destroy this church! I am the new pastor. THe Shepherd and I are in agreement that the church needs to be run according to the bible and not the traditions of men. Thus the problem. We have people who worshiped the previous pastor. Literally he will tell you that some people think he hung the moon. and he hates that. THe problem is those people are the ones who are coming against the leaders, including my wife and myself. One of these people tracked and chased us down 1/2 way across town, pulled over and started yelling at my wife about things my wife did not even do, infront of two of our elders. THat is how bad it is getting.
So we need prayers, and if you have other prayer list please feel free to put us on it.
1. For Protection from the evil one.
2. For Godley men and women to rise up in this church
3. For God to drive out those who need to be driven out, and bring in those who need to be brought it
4. For the people of the church to submit to mine and our elders biblical authority.
5. For Christ Jesus to win the battle for not only this church, but other churches facing these problems
6. For time of peace, and sanctuary. - His warriors are getting tired, and two God fearing men have already left the leadership.
7. Most of all that Christians start to live the life we are called live as described in Col 3.
Please keep me, my wife, our daughter and child on the way in your prayers.

God bless Malsteem, along with your family and your church I will lift up your concerns to our Awesome Lord. I will pray for your church family, friend and foe alike... to search only for His Truth and lay any politics or pettiness at the cross.
