An abomination as bad as man lying with mankind - banned BY GOD in the bible - eating shellfish is an abomination. Time to picket the Red Lobsters.
Leviticus 11:10
Also, traditional marriage should go back to what God wanted, polygamy. And we should all have slaves to show our wealth and favour with God. Hey, it's in the bible.
Also, mankind lying with mankind is supposed to be an abomination - but lesbianism is ok, so we should stop bashing them. Homos, yeah - bash those gay guys -- but lesbians and dykes are ok with God.
Let's get with God's program people - we can't just take the bible as we want it - we have to follow those directions word for word - look at the state the world is in because we don't.
So how are we going to start? Anyone suggest an e-mail campaign against seafood restaurants? Oh, and the Japanese, we'll have to picket them too - they're always eating sushi.
Add grain of salt... and take with sense of humour, please. |

Light, you confuse Mosaic Law with ceremonial law. Acts Chapter 10 shows the repeal of the cermonail law which dealt with dietary issues such as these.
There is no blessing for any form of sex outside of the bonds of marriage.
There is nothing but disdain offered in Scripture, both Old and New Testament for homosexual activity...including woman to woman.
Romans 1:24-28
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
These are the TRUE and WHOLE representations of what the Bible has to say on your issues.

I'll agree with the statement above in part. However, because we take it word for word, the student of Scriptrue realizes the value of sound exegesis. Firstly, taking Scripture in context. Secondly, letting the clear passages assist in the interpretation of the less clear. Next, compare it to Scripture as a whole.
It's easy to take one passage out of context or without weighing the part against the whole and twist it to mean something entirely different. I've seen it done out here by Christians.
