Islam teaches that Jesus (Isa) was the one of the most important prophet, but Muslims do not believe that he was the Son of God, nor that he is divine or part of a triune God as Christians believe. According to Muslims, Jesus was a human prophet who brought to mankind a closer relationship with God and each other. Muslims believe that Jesus was miraculously born of the Virgin Mary, but disagree on the nature of Jesus' paternity in relation to the conception. Muslims believe the creation of Jesus was like the creation of Adam, they were both created by God without human fathers, but neither are seen as being the "sons of God" in the literal sense.
Islam and Christianity differ in their fundamental views in regard to the crucifixion and resurrection. Christians believe that Jesus was condemned to death by the Sanhedrin and the Roman prefect Pontius Pilate, physically crucified and resurrected. Muslims believe that Jesus was condemned to crucifixion and then miraculously saved:
“That they rejected Faith; that they uttered against Mary a grave false charge; That they said in boast, "We killed Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no certain knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise”[4:156–158]
Other Christian terms are also present in Islam, although their meanings are not always the same. These include the Second Coming, Antichrist and The Beast.
Being a Musim. I love Jesus, he was a prophet. He will come some years before the day of judgment. He will complete his remaining life and Then he will meet death like all the prophets. He will be born according to the Islamic laws in Medinah along the grave of Prophet Muhammad. The place for his grave is preserved in the holly city of Medinah. He will come when the predictions given by Prophet Muhammad will be fulfilled (Some predictions are completed). He will appear on the gate of LUDH, I think this is in Jerusalem or Damascus. He will appear with each of his hands on a shoulder of two angels. A lot of literature in Islam is available on his arrival. Allah knows better. _________________ ניוזלטר

To you, your allah may know better! But unfortunately, your allah's greatest mistake was not acknowledging Jesus as the Son of God.

Islam teaches Jesus was never crucified but the earliest Christian writings teach that Mary the mother of Jesus was there at the cross where he was crucified (John 19:26). It is not possible to credibly argue she did not know Him even though He was badly beaten. It is very hard to corroborate the argument the text which state this was changed. This is quite frankly impossible, the earliest fragments of John's gospel actually date within fifty years of it being written and how could Christians know which fragment of their writings would survive these two thousand years? Earliest copy of John's gospel is preserved at John Rylands Library, University of Manchester, England.
Mary also was a follower of Christ His resurrection (Acts 1:14), as did the natural son of Mary, James who became a leader in the early church (Josephus 20:200; Galatians 1:19)
Christ's crucifixion is mentioned by Paul's 1Corinthian letter (1:23)also quoted by subsequent writers, Ignatius Ephesians 18, Diognetus 12, 1 Clement 47, Polycarp Epistle 11; all written at end of first or beginning of second centuries. It is hard even for atheists and liberals not to therefore date it as it can be worked out to have been written from Luke's writings in Acts, around 56CE, twenty years after Christ's death.
We give evidence. Where is the proof the prophet of Islam saw what he claimed? It is written to have more than one witness. He is his own and only witness.
Christ was crucified to permit people to be restored to God's Love to have a relationship with God to come to know God as their Father- why would God make it that we sinners have to repent before Him? Why did their prophet not be born a son of a virgin if he is greater than the Christ? they blaspheme against Him without knowing for He is the Eternal? Yes, the Eternal One, Micah the prophet around 700BCE prophesied the one to be born in Bethlehem as Jesus Christ was, was of ancient times. Why was their prophet not foretold by these ancient prophets whose writings are extant? Why predict the second best prophet so much and none of the first? There are over seventy prophesies fulfilled by Christ Jesus from the Old Testament. The Day is coming when Christ will return but not to fill up an earthly life- but be seen by all who have ever lived and do live for who He is - King of kings and Lord of lords, God the Almighty Son. (1Thessalonians 5 and many others) |
