Whether it is true or otherwise, The Bible has already warned us to be ready -
2 Peter 3:10
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.
Therefore live each today to the glory of God so that we do not have to worry even if it is today that the Lord would come. 
Also, for the chill down your spine, have no worry about it as we cannot know of tomorrow (Matthew 6:33-34). Just live your today well.
